Stock photos are a life saver and a time saver for those times when you have a specific idea in mind and need a photo quickly but taking your own photo is not an option. You can, of course, turn to a paid stock photo site like iStockphoto but what if you don’t have that kind of budget or you simply can’t justify it? The good news is that there are a lot of free royalty-free stock photo websites that have a comprehensive library of images.
Searching for something like ‘Free Stock Photos’ or ‘Free Photo Sites’ on Google often bring up mixed results, especially since stock photo sites advertise ‘Royalty Free Images’ which Google promote under those terms. There are however a number of free royalty-free stock photo websites that we are fans of and use regularly.
